Not For Sale 2022. 100 x 120cm

"For the last week or so I’ve been at a loss of what to say, do or post regarding the state of the world right now. It’s hard for me to fathom the true extent of heartbreak that people are going through, a lot of what I’ve seen on social media has brought me to tears. It’s so hard to see humans suffering at the hands of the people put in power to protect them.

I feel as a generation we’ve already been through so much in the last couple of years and although I have a desire to make a change to this world I’m really not sure how we can achieve it. I feel like so many people can relate to this right now, I want to change the world but don’t know how.

This piece is called ‘Not For Sale, 2022.’

This artwork symbolises the freedom that is not for sale, the unity that is not for sale, the love that is not for sale, the empathy that is not for sale, the human connection that is not for sale… despite the efforts of those in power to use people’s lives as a commodity for personal gain.
