This painting is inspired by the purity and comfort of my childhood. An innocence rooted in a deep love for the beauty found in the ordinary. The painting depicts an outline of a Lavender plant within a Polaroid frame, capturing an abstract version of a memory, altered over time.
The scent of lavender, a cup of “you & me” as my grandad would call tea. It's about the people, places, and moments that shaped my understanding of love, belonging, and the art of being present.
